This market will feature 40+ local vendors who engage in sustainable practices, including local and ethical production, a zero-waste (waste reduction) approach to product design, and a climate-positive business model.
Feminist Flea Market, in its design and its vendors, imagines radical futures that center forms of sustainability that are regenerative, ethically produced, and community-led. The market is produced by, and for artists and makers, marginalized for their gender, especially those whose experience is divergent from the gender binary.
A $5+ suggested donations at the entry are welcome to raise money for Urban Creators, a platform for radical and collaborative imagination that uses food, art, and education as tools to nurture resilience and self-determination in North Philadelphia.
